AVER-GLA has been operating in the Greater Los Angeles Region of Southern California for the past 3 years. We are truly honored to be able to serve the LGBTQ/A Veterans, Servicemembers and their families all this time. We are looking forward to many more successful years of serving our LGBT & Veteran Communities.

Over the past 3 years we have been able to attend many monumental events, and partner with many organizations to make sure that all Veteran in LA County and our neighboring communities are treated as equals. In the future we are looking to spread out more into the community, and launch a pilot Veteran Advocacy Program designed to target LGBTQ/A Veterans. Be on the look out for information on this and many other initiatives that we will be launching with the help of our dedicated partners. Also be on the look out for us at upcoming Pride Festivals, Parades and Veteran Stand Downs, as we will be there to make sure our LGBTQ/A Brothers & Sisters are represented and have a voice.

Again, Thank You for allowing me to serve the LGBTQ/A & Veteran Communities as the President of AVER-GLA. I look forward to serving you all this year, and in the future.

Apolonio E. Munoz III
